Meet Remy. This is an absolutely wonderful guy....Everyone who meets him falls in love with him.
He is about 1 year old and a happy fun guy who loves to run, hike, and go for walks. He loves dogs, all people and kids, and he loves to play with balls and squeaky toys. At the dog park, he gets along with dogs any size and is playful and affectionate with them. He's 45 lbs....the perfect size.
This is a fantastic dog for older kids and teenagers or people who are fun and like to go to the park or take long hikes, then Remy is your man! We think he might be part Weimaraner because the water floats off his fur and he has webbed toes! Ideally he would be best in a family that loves the outdoors and has a yard or even another dog.
Remy likes to sleep near his people so he should be on a bed beside your or in a crate nearby. He's toilet trained and has a lot of basic training. He is super easy to train...because he's very food motivated!
Remy was found starving and rail thin when we found him. He was literally skin and bones and weighed 14 lbs. We nursed him back to health over a few months. For that reason he eats super fast so we feed him with a 'slow' feeder and if you have another dog, they need to be fed separately.
Remy is in San Francisco. All pet adoption fees go to preventing unwanted pregnancies that are tied to the overpopulation of street dogs in Mexico.
