My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Hale! This sweet, approx 9-10 year old DSH male cat came to us from a local shelter. He gets along well with other cats and is always ready for a rub along his back! Hale had previous dental work done a few years ago an so is missing most of his teeth. This doesn't slow him down or prevent him from eating both wet and dry food. Hale is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. To apply, please visit apply.neshamarescue.org

Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
