My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valentinais a shy and sweet girl who loves to snuggle, but takes a bit to warm up. She trusts her foster parents now and lets them love on her. She would do well with another cat, or cats, in the house. She was rescued in December 2019 from a cat hoarding situation. She will need patience and love from her forever family, but will have lots to share once she is settled and calmed in her new home! She is a Neshama favorite since she has blossomed so much in foster care.

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
