My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a Good Samaritan.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Do you like stuffed toys, pool time, tennis balls, and cozy blankets? Chewy bones and Kong toys are a plus! Milk bones and Pup-Peroni treats are also nice! Wait...since when do dogs know how to type?? The girl with the dazzling personality and apparently proficient computer skills is Georgia! Georgia is a bashful lady who is looking for a family to share all of her favorite things. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, it sounds like Georgia's dream and we think that Georgia IS a dream, so everyone is happy! Georgia has easily become a staff favorite with her caregivers and trainers. We just adore her goofy, sweet, affectionate, and playful personality. There's more that we're loving about this girl each day, and we can't wait to share more with you. Give us a call to schedule a behavior consultation with her trainer today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
