Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here is our last pup from the five siblings that we helped rescue from a home that kept breeding. We made the agreement to help as long as we could spay and neuter the mom and dad. We found out the family has a prior litter of four that they have kept. So to ensure no more puppies being born we spayed the mom and the daughter.
Meet Hudson, he came in to the rescue in the worst shape. He went into our temporary foster Theresa May until we could get Sully adopted out and move him to Cindy Mettille . When he first came in his skin was in real bad shape as well he was terrified and would scream if you got too close you cannot touch him. It looked like he was probably sitting or laying in urine in feces. You will see the pictures of how he came in. We got him into our vet and recommended that we get him on an antibiotic and give him some Benadryl to start his healing process. As that did help it only took him so far. While he was in temporary foster we did get his vetting completed including his neuter that was just completed about 2 weeks ago.
Last Monday was the big day to move Hudson to Cindy and he started to have some sort of reaction around his eye that morning. Cindy sent me pictures and we made an appointment to get him into the Vet immediately. Benadryl obviously wasn't helping any further so we gave him an allergy shot, switched his food to a limited ingredient food, once his stitches were removed got him a medicated bath for itching. We also started him on the ResqOrganics Manuka honey skin care cream, that has really helped in the short 4 days he has been using it. Thanks to Hope Black for always helping the rescue with her wonderful products from ResqOrganics. Wait till you see the difference I'm going to try to put the pictures in order of when he first came into the rescue and was staying at Teresa's this goes back to November 26th until current.
Hudson's going to need some time to get used to new people. It's amazing how these little ones are able to trust pretty quick. But when you bring another new person they revert a little bit so we will be spending time trying to get him better socialized before he goes into a forever home.
See what Hudsons foster mom Cindy has to say about him, see below.
Introducing Hudson! He's a sibling to Sully & Nessie, who I had a little while ago. The rescue helped find homes for an overcrowded home of puppies. Hudson is our last. He's come a long way since the rescues been helping him. He's finally done with vetting & we're working on his confidence. He's still scared of strangers, but is doing better. Here he is after his first shower since his neuter surgery! He's so fluffy now & his hair is starting to grow back in.
Hudson is house broke, gets along with other dogs, crate trained ( but would love to be in bed with you if you let him), knows...sit, lay down, give paw & NO.
