Hey there, I'm Barnum!! Barnum is a lovable 3 year old who was rescued from Texas. He was born in a small town in the Lone Star State where he spent the first few years of his life wandering the streets and surviving on scraps. Despite his struggles, Barnum remained a happy-go-lucky pup with a tail that never stopped wagging. Barnum is kennel/ housetrained trained and walks wonderful on a leash. One of Barnum's favorite activities is going on walks. He loves nothing more than putting on his leash and heading out for a stroll around the neighborhood. Whether it's a short walk around the block or a long hike through the woods, Barnum is always up for an adventure. His favorite toys are the ones that squeek, he also like to play fetch. Barnum is the perfect size and would make the best cuddle buddy. If you're looking for a loyal and fun-loving companion to join your family, Barnum may be just the dog for you. With his charming personality and love for adventure, he's sure to bring joy and excitement into your life every day. Barnum is currently located at out adoption center in Brewster, NY!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
