My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tammy is a sweet girl weighing 9.6 pounds. She is 2-3 years old and is being fostered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dogs being fostered in Florida must be adopted within the State of Florida.

Updated Bio 2/6/23: Tammy has to be the most pleasant little pup ever! It is clear that Tammy likes people, very long brisk walks on her leash, and nap time. She loves to play with small dogs, and we are yet to have an encounter with a cat. She is a jovial, 10 pound, 2-3 year old with a very pleasant disposition. She enjoys car rides, is alert, and extremely inquisitive. She has been an amazing foster and would make a great companion.

Tammy would prefer a stay at home parent since she really doesn't like to be left alone. She needs an energetic person who loves to go for long walks. A home with another small dog for Tammy to play with would be great as she loves other dogs as well as humans.

Sweet Tammy was found as a stray and has skin issues, probably from allergies, and an allergy injection alleviates her itching. She does have some hair loss, and time will tell if it is permanent. Tammy had a mammary mass removed which turned out to be a benign lipoma. Tammy and her foster mom were very happy with those results! This gorgeous gal is in great shape and has loads of love to share with that special family.
