My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amy is a super sweet and lucky girl rescued by a kind, compassionate lady in Watts in December 2022. Amy is a love bug, certified lap cat and loves to snuggle in bed. She is very affectionate and would make a great ESA for a lucky adopter. She is getting along well with the other cats in her current foster home, but isn't fond of the senior dog (who doesn't understand why she lashes out at him when he comes to close). Perhaps she will adjust in time to a dog, but may do best in a home without dogs. She has a fantastic temperament and should be fine with well-mannered children. If you are interested in adopting one of our rescued pets, please contact us to request an adoption questionnaire.

Interview

Once your questionnaire has been reviewed, a volunteer will get in touch with you to discuss our adoption procedures

After your questionnaire is approved a volunteer will arrange a time to visit your home and family or schedule a virtual home visit.

Additional adoption info

Prior to adoption, each animal is current on vaccines, dewormed, and parasite-free. Cats and kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia. Our Adoption Donation for cats, kittens, dogs and puppies varies. Microchipping for permanent internal I.D. may incur an additional fee.

Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and parasite treatment.

Friends of Cordes Lakes Animals does not operate a shelter that is open to the public. Our rescue animals are fostered in private homes and are shown by appointment.

NOTE: Our foster homes are COMPLETELY full and we are unable to take owned or stray pets into our rescue at this time.

Friends of Cordes Lakes Animals is a group of independent rescuers working together to find permanent homes for cats, kittens, puppies and dogs who have found themselves in an Animal Shelter or other "unfortunate circumstance".

All the pets we have available for adoption are happy, socialized and healthy. Some of Friends of Cordes Lakes Animals Adorable Adoptables are cared for in private foster homes.
