Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee for cats is $125.00.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $250.00.
To apply to adopt a pet, you can complete and submit your adoption application at www.triadspca.org/adopt .
Please allow 3-5 days for processing your application. Once your application is processed, you will be contacted. If you have not heard from someone at the SPCA regarding your application, you can contact the SPCA office directly at (336) 375-3222, to find out the current status of your adoption application.
Once approved, you can take the pet home for a triad period of up to 2 weeks if you desire, before finalizing the adoption.
To finalize the adoption, an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee is required.

Come meet our pets at the SPCA Center located at 3163 Hines Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
SPCA Center Hours:
Weekdays: Tuesday through Friday 12pm to 5pm each day.
Weekends: Saturday 10am to 4pm & Sunday 12-4pm
The Department of Agriculture mandates that the SPCA can house up to 30 cats and 30 dogs onsite at the SPCA Center.
Other cats and dogs are kept in Foster Homes until they are adopted. You can contact the SPCA at (336) 375-3222 to find out if the specific cat or dog you are interested in is at the SPCA Center or if an appt with the Foster must be arranged for you to meet the pet.

More about this rescue

SPCA of the TRIAD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded in May 1994 and based in Greensboro, NC. The Mission of the SPCA is to rescue homeless, neglected, abused, injured and needy animals, rehabilitate the animals and get them any medical care needed, spay/neuter the animals, and then adopt the animals into loving homes. The SPCA is also active in educating the community on the need to spay/neuter their pets. The SPCA holds monthly low cost Rabies-Microchip Clinics and operates a Pet Food Pantry for qualifying folks in need of assistance with food for their pets.
