My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Bodie, a 10ish, male Chihuahua mix. Bodie never met a lap he didn’t want to jump in to cuddle. At 7 pounds, he is just the perfect size to make that happen. Bodie gets along with the other dogs in his foster family but gives a little grrrrrr if they get too close without permission.

Bodie is as sweet a dog as you could ask for and he is ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a champion cuddle bug to keep you company day and night, Bodie is definitely the dog for you. You’re sure to fall in love with this little guy.

Bodie hasn’t been tested around cats but our guess is he would not be a cat-friendly dog. He would be okay in a home with older, dog savvy kids. But Bodie would be happiest as an only dog with a single person or couple with loads of time to spend with him. Bodie knows how to use a dog door.

Bodie does have a heart condition and is currently taking medication which he will need for the rest of his life. His medication currently costs about $40 a month. He will need to be seen by a vet twice a year.

Bodie has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped.
