My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy Post for a rescue partner. We are assisting Greener Side Haven with placing Wolfie ! Wolfie is a striking Siberian Husky/Lab(?) mix. He is about 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs, is neutered, partially housebroken, current on vaccinations, dewormed and has a clean heartworm test. He has a short Lab like coat but Husky markings and that traditional tail curl. Wolfie has a big personality and like many young Huskies can be willful & headstrong, but is very smart. He is a very active dog and will try to escape, so a 6’ privacy fenced yard is required to keep this guy safe. We believe Wolfie would do best with someone who has Siberian breed experience. No small children or small dogs please. For more details and to arrange a meet ‘n greet, please call 352-746-3545. If you have questions about the Siberian breed feel free to email us at: foccas@tampabay.rr.com More pics of Wolfie can be found here: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/wolfie-59987955/fl/inverness/foccas-inc-fl1385/

More about this rescue

FOCCAS, Inc. - Shepherd & Husky Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit 100% volunteer organization formed in 2010 to assist in rescuing, re-homing and providing for the medical needs of homeless pets in Citrus County.

FOCCAS, Inc. is a registered charity in the State of FL and has 501(c)(3) status with the IRS. We have no paid employees or directors. We are 100% volunteer-based. All donations are used to help the animals. Our volunteers & fosters provide their own transportation for themselves and rescue pets to adoption events, veterinary care, and other rescue groups. Often our pets require extensive medical care for conditions or injuries sustained prior to their arrival @ our rescue. Surgeries and x-rays are the most common. We rely entirely on donations and fundraising efforts.
