My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Quincy and I was just neutered and microchipped on October 11 2005. I'm glad you've shown interest in me as I am a wonderful dog. I get along great with all humans, though I am a little timid at first with some males because my previous owner wasn't very nice to me. I was born looking like a pitbull, whatever that is, and now some idiotic government people have labelled me a bad dog just because of the shape of my head. I am classified under the new law as a "grandfathered pit bull" and will be required to be muzzled when off your property (though my dad just takes me to places where no one will bother us). Are you fimilar with the new laws and regulations? Will you be a responsible pit bull owner and practice responsibility and defend me when others show prejudice towards me? Sadly, there are ignorant people who dont like me and my breed.

I am a good boy who will stay by your side and not run away when I am off-leash. I am very active and love to run and play, and I can jump like a kangaroo. Do you have a fenced yard where I can run and be muzzle free? Do you have other pets? I am a bit unsure about some male dogs, and though I am not an instigator, I will stand up for myself if I have to. I get along great with females as long as they aren't too bitc...um, bossy. I even like cats too, they are fun to chase around the house. I've been swatted a few times, so I know the limits. If you are renting a house, do you have written consent from your landlord giving you permission to have a pit bull on their property? I know these questions are straight forward but this is my second chance at life and we want to make it the best one for me!
Thank you,
Quincy
