My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a sweet, mellow, beautiful little doggy?
THIS IS GEPETTO!

Gepetto was discovered abandoned in the deep desert, emaciated and dehydrated! He is chipped, his owners called and they rejected him.

This sweet, gentle soul is well on the road to recovery- his ideal home is a QUIET place with an experienced family.

Gepetto loves being with his humans, and he also socializes well with other FRIENDLY dogs, cats and teens. Because he is a senior, we feel he is safer in a home without children under `12 yo.

The ideal Gepetto FURever home will have, at minimum, a small grass area, patio for sunbathing, and of course well fenced. Homes with teenage girls or seniors who love to brush out the beautiful smooth coated fur will be given priority!

We are VERY careful to find the BEST home for Gepetto- preferably with a human who is home most of the day, and simply wants the BEST LITTLE FURRY BOY COMPANION DOGGY!

As always, retired seniors, and retired workers in the HERO industry are given priority! (ie- Nurses, CNA's, Veterinary staff, etc)

If that is YOU, contact our rescue ASAP with a PHONE NUMBER and SCHEDULE a specific time for a call to chat with our Volunteer Adoption Counselor today!

Gepetto will ONLY be fostered or adopted in San Diego County.
