Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rambo! This Dane is approximately 2 years old and weighs 120 pounds, he will continue to gain weight as he is still on the small side, but very tall He is as strong as he is beautiful and will need an experienced Adopter to help him continue his training. Rambo loves humans and dogs big and small but would be suited best in a home with older children and larger breed dogs. He still has a lot of puppy in him and just doesn't realize how big he is. He will also need a cat-free home. There is nothing he loves more in life than a big box of toys. He also loves to lean into people, but being a Dane, we expect nothing less! Rambo had blood work, as well as a dental cleaning at his vet visit.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Rambo? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Rambo.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Rambo the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
