My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI, my name is Kali!

I'm an energetic spunky 2 year old pup that really tries to please. I like to give kisses and want to be around you and see what you’re doing all the time. I know how to sit for treats and will look up adoringly while waiting for my treat. I have such an angelic face if I do say so myself!

I get along with my 3 foster siblings, but of course I would need to meet any potential brothers or sisters of the canine variety. I can be a little overwhelming at times as I like to play and play and tire them out. They’re ready for a nap and I want to keep playing. I'm unsure about any feline friends, we may get along, but I would have to meet them and see.

I like to zoom in the back yard, and sniff around getting to know all the scents.

I would like to be your best friend and cuddle with you while you're watching TV or reading a book. I'm really a love bug. I really like my toys, and bones to chew on. Running around shaking them in my mouth and wanting to play tug of war with my foster siblings or foster mom.

Watch out for me when you're running the vacuum. I think it's a toy and want to play, I’ve nearly got swept up a few times. When it's time for bed, I settle down nicely till morning, and then I’m ready to go again.

Walking on a leash is hard for me as I think the leash is a toy and try to chew on it. I just want to wander all over and discover new things while I’m out too. But I’m working on it and think I’m getting a little better each time we go out walking along side my foster mom.

I'm really am such a silly, loveable girl, who is looking for a forever home of her own.

This dog is house broke, crate trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, heart worm negative, on flea and heart worm preventative, and micro-chipped. This dog will REQUIRE A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. No apartments or condos for this dog please.

Our adoption fee is $200.00 (cash or credit card)

Due to the foster's mom schedule this dog is not at the Petsmart adoption events. The Foster Mom is willing to meet outside of the Saturday adoption events at a time and place convenient to both parties once an application has been processed.

HOW TO APPLY: You can go directly to our website at
www.waganimalrescue.com to fill out an application.

You must be at least 25 years old to apply.

IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a cat/kitten. A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. All of our animals are kept in foster homes.
