My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome and quiet Pea is a gorgeous house panther, who started out in foster care as a stray kitten with his 4 siblings. When he first entered foster care, Pea was not quite sure what do do inside. He was a little nervous about the big environment and the unfamiliar smells and sights. Now that he's had time getting to know how nice it is to be warm, well fed, and cared for, Pea is a very appreciative guy! Pea is more of an observer most of the time, just hanging back and watching the other kitties do their thing, but if you get out a feather toy then you'll likely entice him to come play as well! He loves playing with other cats and kittens and you'll catch him chasing them to get them to play. He also really gets with people who give him his space and allow him to approach on his own at first. After the trust is build Pea will come up to you asking for some pets and rubs. Something ver unique about Pea and his siblings is that they throw their tails forward instead of backwards causing a ring shape to form. Pea recently lost his brother Mango due to unfortunate circumstances which has left him a bit lonely and in need of a companion cat.

Pea does well with humans and other kitties, often snuggling up with either for a quick cat nap. In his forever home, Pea would ideally go to a home with another kitty pal for him to befriend and a family that will give him time to adjust and blossom. He is experienced with dogs in his foster home. We hope sweet Pea can finally find their forever family. He deserves it!!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
