We rescued Sidney from a horrific shelter in Memphis, TN. When we got him, he was skin and bones and had some barrier aggression issues (who knows what horrors he suffered there)
It didn't take long for Sidney to realize he was now safe and could start letting down his guard.
Sidney Poitier has filled out and is truly a stunning dog. He is still looking for his forever home.
Sidney is good when meeting new people and shows no overt aggression, though he has enough of a prey driver, he can't be in a home with cats or small dogs.
Sidney is very intelligent and would do well as a search and rescue dog or some kind of service dog. He needs an experienced owner to help him be the best boy he can be. He needs a securely fenced yard.
Sidney is about 1.5 years old, and is at his healthy weight of 80 lbs. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention
Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area and I will insist on a meet and greet prior to any adoption (so if you live out of area, plan on a road trip?)
