My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Ezekiel. I am a Terrier/Schnauzer mix. I am super smart and willing to learn. I am crate, housetrain and leash train. I get along great with cats, small and big dogs. I would love a fence in the backyard to run and play with my toys. I can also keep you company if you want to watch a movie on the couch or go for a coffee break and you can get me a puppy latte, or I can walk with you on trails. I am just a big teddy bear. This boy is so very sweet and gentle dog but because he is a larger active puppy, still growing we require that this dog have a fenced yard. If you are interested in Ezekiel, he is in Central Arkansas. He will come to you neuter and up to date on his shots. If you are interested in meeting Ezekiel in person, please apply at www.arkansaschihuahuarescue.org fill out an application and let’s meet.

Additional adoption info

We charge an adoption fee which varies on the age and health of the dog. We require 3 personal references and a vet reference. We do not adopt Chihuahuas to homes with toddlers or large aggressive dogs. We have a contract that outlines our expectations of the adopter. We require that the adopted pet never be relinquished to a shelter it must come back to our rescue. Our adoption fee includes a spay/neuter, Rabies vaccine, and fecal. Sometimes the dog may require more health testing that is done when the dog is in our care.
