My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance is a happy, playful boy who is dedicated to his people, loves a game of fetch and playing with other dogs. He walks well on a leash around the neighborhood where he loves to sniff and enjoy the fresh air. He adores spending time in a fenced backyard as he runs to chase the tennis ball. He knows his basic commands. He is a smart boy who learns very quickly. Chance would do well in just about any kind of setting. He is shy at first but once he warms up, he is just a wonderful boy. He has been fostered with multiple bigger and smaller dogs and does great with all of them. He plays nicely and takes cues from them. Chance is still a puppy with puppy energy so he will require exercise. Chance has not been around kids and, but we feel he will do fine once he warms up. Chance is crate train and is working on house training. Chance is neutered and up to date with his shots and HW negative. He is ready for his own family to love. He has a sponsor making his adoption fee waived we will still need you to fill out an application for Chance to be adopted to an approved rescue home. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at www.arkansaschihuahuarescue.org. This puppy is in Central Arkansas.

Additional adoption info

We charge an adoption fee which varies on the age and health of the dog. We require 3 personal references and a vet reference. We do not adopt Chihuahuas to homes with toddlers or large aggressive dogs. We have a contract that outlines our expectations of the adopter. We require that the adopted pet never be relinquished to a shelter it must come back to our rescue. Our adoption fee includes a spay/neuter, Rabies vaccine, and fecal. Sometimes the dog may require more health testing that is done when the dog is in our care.
