My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The curious case of Tilty Ang.

Tilty Ang came to us with a severe and chronic ear infection. After it healed, it left a permanent tilt to her head, making her look like she is perpetually curious, which is fitting for this shy diva. She is always watchful of her surroundings and accessing her place in it.

Tilty is very shy of humans’ touch but wants desperately to be near you or in the same room. If she is alone, she will call out with her very loud and sing-song diva voice! She love to sing! She also LOVES to play with her toys and with you, and could be entertained by herself for hours with a toy mouse. She can also be lured near you by treats which she relishes.

Angela loves other cats, and should be adopted into a home with one or more other friendly cats. It would help her transition enormously and give her a higher quality of life. She is very sweet to other cats and gentle and would make a great companion to her cat brother or sister.

Angela is full of contradictions, a sign that this kitty is waiting for the right adopter to give her the space and time to relax, blossom and reveal her true nature in a forever home!

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
