My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** LAP CAT** Hi, I am Janey! I am SOOOO excited to meet you! My humans say I am super sweet and that I have special needs. They think I was hit by a car so my tail had to be removed and it caused bladder control issues, but that doesn’t stop me from living my life to the fullest! I love talking and being pet by humans. I also love to play and cuddle with them too! Sometimes I think I am a dog! I AM VERY SOCIAL EVEN WITH STRANGERS! Because of my bladder, sometimes it leaks. My human has tried diapers but I am not a fan and just take them off. I try to use a litter box, but when I get super excited my urine is hard to control. Most of the time, I just play in my playpen with some wee wee pads. Now that my foster family expresses my bladder 3x a day, I have much less leakage, and I have become a total LAP CAT!! My new human needs to be okay with my needs, and remember... I LOVE to give kisses!

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
