Coming soon! Cleo is approximately 15 months old and is quite the sassy, little lady. She is a lover who is very velcro, LOVES her people, loves to play with the family aussie - as long as her people are hanging out there too - and even gets along with the cats.
She is a very typical aussie in that she is reserved with new people, but there is no stranger danger with this one! She likes an introduction, and then, gets to know you at her pace. There is no sharpness or shyness.
She is very bouncy though, so sturdy, dog savvy kids over 8 are best. Non-dog savvy? 12 would be good. She likes toys, loves to play, and loves to dance on her back legs, paws waving. She is happy with grooming and calm when visiting the vet.
Cleo is an easy aussie - she just needs some basic training and an active family who wants to do things with her. She will be a wonderful hiking companion, but will also do well in the patio bar afterwards. Cleo is not a dog to leave at home all day, alone.
As an aussie, Cleo does have some prey drive -shown with squirrels mostly. She also has some protection tendencies and will alert her family to strangers outside. She is not a barker though - Cleo is quiet unless something is really up.
Bedtime is easy. Cleo puts herself to bed in her crate about 9:30. She is quiet through the night and is happy to be let out at 7:30. Cleo will be available in March, after her spay. She is a special dog, happy, healthy and ready to rock and roll with the right family. She is in Northern Virginia.
