Ella is a 4 year old adorable boxer mix who loves affection, car rides, running outside, and peanut butter!
This 45 lb cutie was rescued from the Brooklyn city shelter and is being fostered in Livingston Manor in The Catskills where she is doing wonderfully, gaining confidence and trust in people and enjoying country life. Ella loves car rides, eating snow, long walks, running and playing ball in a fenced area, belly rubs and Kong toys full of treats!

She is great at meeting new people and will quickly ask for belly rubs and snuggles. She’s good when left alone and does not need to be crated. She is obedient, loyal and the perfect mix of active and easy going, not hyper.

Although we are working on dog socializing with a trainer at the moment, we are seeking an only dog/no cat home for her. She does very well at boarding and enjoys it (separated from other dogs) so this could be a good solution for vacations or weekends away.

As she’s been in a foster home for several months, her personality is known well to make an easy transition to her forever home. After all, she's been through, Ella is finally experiencing a loving, stable environment and very ready for a happy life.
