Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Groot. I am a 2 year old neutered male Maltese Mix. I am hypoallergenic, so I would be great in a home where there are allergies, strict landlords, and/or just don’t want hair all over their house. I would love to meet you this Saturday or Sunday at the adoption event, even if you aren’t ready to adopt, I would be happy just to meet you.

Groot came with 6 other dogs named Desiree, Newton, Tucson, Sade, Dorian, and Billy from a fellow rescuer.

We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
