My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Janice is a 2-year-old terrier mix who weighs about 20 pounds. She was surrendered to the shelter with her brother Markus. They were both left to roam in a rural area and got in trouble with some chickens. This girl loves nothing more than playing and belly rubs. She is excellent on walks and a total cuddle bug at night. She's so unique looking with her long hair, one blue eye and tons of spots. She also doesn't seem to shed a lot. Janice is also housebroken, and crate trained.

While Janice is friendly and likes to play with the other dogs in her foster home, she can get cranky with them when she wants all the attention. She loved the 10-year-old kids she’s met and her foster thinks she would do well with any respectful children. Janice is looking for a better life indoors and a home where she is spoiled rotten. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her former owner said good she is good cats, but we cannot confirm.

If you are interested in adopting Janice please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a socially distanced meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
