My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brooklyn is approximately 4 yrs old.  She can be shy with new people at first but if given time she warms up and enjoys attention. We are unaware of how she is with kids and cats.  She should meet any new dog before adoption is approved and a decision is made.

She does have accidents in her kennel so she may need housetrained.  She does know some commands and will work for food.

Here is a link to a TikTok video of her: https://www.tiktok.com/@caninemoon/video/7197577053695249706?lang=en

Anyone interested in her must meet her and complete an application, in person, before a decision will be made for her adopter.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
