Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koda is the sweetest girl with us. A loyal and impressive protector & watch dog. She is also brilliant with her obedience commands. But we got her during covid. She didn’t get early socialization and formal training. Over time, she has learned, and is now slow to warm up to people and other pets. I thought that she could catch up on these things, in spite of us doing it late. But her socialization needs work. She’d be awesome with formal training. We are willing, but hesitant, as she has a high-drive, and energy needs- she needs at least 1 hr of play per day or she will be hyper and destructive, she barks and jumps against the crate when kids scream and rough-house, or when my Autistic son pushes and shoves with me and his dad. We’ve corrected this whenever she does it, and she settles immediately, but I just don’t think that she can understand, and deal with our son and his behaviors and needs. And that’s not her fault. She’d be great w/ an active home w/ older kids and adults!
