My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed

Buttercup is shy and takes times to warm up to people, but once she does, she enjoys her people's company. Buttercup sleeps with her foster some of them time. She does not like being picked up and definitely has mind of her own.

Buttercup needs a home with humans that are patient and understand that she will love them, but sometimes needs her space to do things on her terms. She would do better in a home with a feline companion. Buttercup would not do well in a home with lots of activity and noise.

Dallas Cat Rescue, dba Cat Matchers is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals. We will accomplish this:

through programs to rescue, spay/neuter and adopt out animals in need.
by supporting spay/neuter programs to try and reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year or left homeless.
The goal is to turn disposable animals into lifelong companions.
