My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE MEET GIGI And BUSTER - the ultimate feline version of a true love story - and we are determined to lead these love birds to a happy furever ending even though so many famous human love stories like Romeo and Juliet did not.
GIGI and BUSTER displayed already their deep love for each other while they were still outdoors, taking sunbaths and grooming sessions together on the patio where they were spotted eventually.
As GIGI seemed to be pregnant her "intake" was the priority but she disappeared before her vet appointment so we just TNR'd BUSTER and released him back to his "patio home". After couple of weeks, GIGI suddenly showed up carrying one kitten in her mouth, walked just through the open terrace door and dropped the kitten under the sofa and decided to stay to nurse it in a safe environment. We couldn't believe how much trust she put into her caretaker and it clearly showed that she was a former house cat abandoned at some point in her young life. What an amazing soul and caring Mom she was. Consequently, BUSTER had to endure a bit longer his outdoor life - with shelters and food in place - and was sitting everyday in front of the terrace door looking inside if GIGI would join him again. And of course GIGI sitting on the other side of the window, giving paws and chirping sound to express her love to him

It broke our hearts to look at these two bonded but separated souls every day so we knew we had to speed up our search for a foster home to reunite both after GIGI had finished her nursing period. With some magic, we reunited GIGI and BUSTER into a wonderful foster home where they immediately cuddled and snuggled in to make up for the time they were separated. It was feline happiness to the maximum, often so deeply curled up with each other that you barely could see two cats rather than a "furry pillow".

GIGI is so in love with BUSTER that nothing happens without him on her side. These two inseparable felines conquered their new life in storm, exploring everything together - especially the cat tree and enjoying their endless toy selection like bouncing balls, fluffy mice to carry around and chasing wands and dangling shoe laces their human has to offer.
But the true highlight is when their foster dad is ready for some relaxation and nap time on the sofa - and BUSTER is in his 'lover boy" mojo to share blanket and lap with "Daddy" right away and surely GIGI is right behind him not to miss any pets. But especially in the morning, GIGI's signature move is head butting her foster Dads' hand in the morning to let him know she is ready for some breakfast...SOOO CUTE!
GIGI and BUSTER are deeply BONDED and MUST find their furever home TOGETHER!

GIGI and BUSTER tested negative for FIV/FELV, are dewormed and deflead, vaccinated, microchipped and otherwise fully vetted!

COME and meet this TRUE FUREVER LOVE STORY to PURRFECTION - you will be touched by their profond affection to each other but also how much love they can give to heir humans.

More about this rescue

We are an East-Harlem-based rescue group of volunteers committed beyond all odds to take stray cats and kittens off the street by Trap-Neuter-Release programs, to give them all veterinary care as needed, rehabilitate and foster them when needed, and get them ready to be adopted into forever homes. We also try to improve the lives of animals that suffer or are homeless by engaging our communities. We focus particular on animals that are "unwanted" but beautiful inside out - Come and visit and you will see how precious they are!
