Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pinto is one of a litter of puppies born to a very pregnant Australian Cattle Dog that took refuge at a ranch in the country. She was actively giving birth to the puppies on the day we took her in. The mother is a full-blooded Australian Cattle Dog, and we have a consensus that the father was probably a Great Pyrenees.
Pinto is now over 7 months old and the last pup from the litter that needs a home. Pinto is a very sweet and gentle pup. He loves toys and treats and playing with other dogs. Pinto is a bit shy towards people but this can be overcome with lots of treats and love. Pinto likes to stay in the house where it is air-conditioned. He is fairly well-behaved in the house and we have seen him use a pee pad on occasion. Otherwise, he will go outside to potty. Pinto is still young and will need further obedience training and socialization. Pinto has never been around cats but would probably get along with them if properly introduced. Pinto is a very sweet and gentle dog that must be protected from rough treatment. Pinto must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and it would be best if he had a secure, fenced yard to explore and play.
Pinto is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPPvL2, Bordetella, Rabies), and microchipped. He has been started on, and is receiving monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Pinto's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport, and he can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. He is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy.
