Rio and her five siblings turned 8 weeks old on February 28th. Their mom is a very friendly, and slightly submissive, small blue Pittie/Bully mix. We are guessing from the colors of all the pups, that the dad was a Border Collie (as black and white dominate). These pups are on the small side, like their mom, and will likely top out at 35 or 40 pounds when full grown. All the pups are outgoing and playful and looking for love!
If you are interested in Rio, or one of her siblings, please email HPHS@Ymail.com and let us know a little about your household.
NOTES ON ADOPTION: We do not adopt puppies this small to families with children under eight. The puppies are not yet altered, so they will be adopted out on a "Foster to Adopt" contract and their adoption fee of $250 will be due at that time. This allows you to take them home and begin their training while delaying altering them until they are closer to six months old. If you live in Modoc County, the cost of basic shots, micro-chipping a spay/neuter are included in this adoption fee. Out-of-area adopters who live too far away to use our vet will need to pay for all the pup's medical care, but will receive a $100 refund upon providing proof of spay/neuter at or before 6 months old.
