*Rescued from: Texas (currently located with foster in Texas, transport will be scheduled once adopted.)

Macy was taken in by a very kind husband and wife, in a rural area of Texas, where there is no help for homeless animals. With there being no local animal shelter, The couple took in over 40 dogs to keep them from starving on the streets. When the husband passed away and his wife fell ill, SNARR NE was asked to help out with the placement of the dogs

Macy is a 6 year old sweet wiggle butt who loves attention and will give tons of kisses. She is a bit timid/uncertain at first so someone willing to give her a little time to blossom into the sweet cuddly girl she is would be great. This girl will be your best friend and sidekick with a little patience and reassurance. She is crate and potty trained. Since Macy is a bit timid at first she will need a fully fenced yard. She is a pretty low energy girl and loves to be next to her people. If you are looking for a sweet girl please submit an application.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
