My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tobi is one half of a bond pair. He is a sweet, lovable dog, but needs lots of attention and loving. He loves to sit on your lap or tucked next to you in an easy chair. Tobi occasionally will get a little frisky and want to play catch. His idea of this game is for you to take a toy, (the one he picks out), and throw it. He’ll bring it about half way back until you go retrieve it. He’ll do this about 5 or 6 times, then he’s done.
Tobi will definitely take some time to adjust. He will probably be “mopey” for a few weeks, maybe longer. He needs a patient, loving, person to give him a lot of attention. When he has bonded with you, he will likely sleep up by your head. He does periodically sleep at the foot of the bed to start, but by the morning, he’s sharing a pillow.
He might need coaxing to sit with you at first. The situation will be unfamiliar and he will be missing me. You can pick him up and put on your lap to start, he’ll most likely stay there. He just needs lots of love.
