My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Linny, the Lhasa, is a character. He is very smart and seems to know what you are saying to him. When he was rescued, we were told he was so badly matted, that he could hardly move. His rescuers were going to keep him but he did not do well being crated over 8 hours while they were at work. He stressed out so badly they were afraid for his safety, so they transferred him to us to find a wonderful home for him. Linny is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. He was thought to be a Shih Tzu but our vet thinks this white with black little guy with 1 blue eye, is a Lhasa Apso because of his size. He was guesstimated to be about 4 years old on 1/19/23. He also weighed 19.5 pounds at that time. Linny gets along well with other dogs and LOVES to ride in the car and go for walks. Linny will only be considered for homes with a fenced yard and where someone is always home. His foster mom says he loves to greet the kids in the neighborhood when out for walks, but as we do not know about his background, he will not be considered for homes with young children. Linny is located in Arkansas. The adoption donation for Linny is $665 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you are interested in adopting Linny, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.
