My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Little Miss Sunshine is ready for her new home!  Roxy is a happy little puppy mix of Pitbull and Boxer and she has the cutest underbite to boot!  Roxy will likely be a large dog when she is fully grown - right now she is about 11 pounds and 3 months old.

Roxy came to us from Texas and we are pretty excited to be part of her journey.  She is a smart puppy - a quick learner too!  She learned stairs in a heartbeat and is always quick to go outside and romp around no matter the weather.  Roxy is working very hard at her housetraining and doing well.  She wants to please her foster mom!  Obviously, Roxy is still just a baby dog so she will need more training.  Please expect accidents.  She does have a fully fenced yard in her foster home, which helps with the housetraining.

Roxy is crate trained and sleeps quietly all night long.  She does have a buddy in there with her to keep her warm.  She is very playful and loves to play with other dogs.  She does not care about the cats in her foster home - she just wants to play with them!  Kids would be fine and very welcome!  She loves people and loves attention.  She will give a little whine when she wants her foster mom's attention and of course, wants to be picked!  We do - while we can!  Roxy is a happy, snuggly playful puppy!  She would be a great family dog or a good buddy to have adventures with!  We know whoever adopts this pretty princess will fall in love in a heartbeat!

Roxy is up to date with age-appropriate vaccines, flea/worm treated and dewormed.   We require a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of her spay is included in the adoption fee and fully explained in the contract).   She is scheduled to be spayed at Operation Pets in March 2023 and it will be the adopter's responsibility to take her to the appointment.  Her adoption fee is $350
