If only we had a red nose big enough to go over Noble’s snout. He’d definitely be the class clown! He’s so playful and silly – he just wants to goof around to make you smile. Noble is a 2YO and has been in shelter since 3/6/23. He had a collar with his name and phone number on it but, despite talking with his owner who said he’d come in and get him, Noble was never reclaimed. He has a higher energy level and loves to have a yard to run around in. He loves playing with toys and marks them as his by leaving behind some drool on them. He’s also a big fan of treats and will sit on command for one. He just won’t hold it for very long because he’s so excited about it. Like all class clowns he loves attention and does what he can to get it from you.

Our regular adoption fee is $100 payable by money order or credit card. The fee covers basic vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, microchip, heart worm testing for dogs, and the spay/neuter surgery.

You will be required to sign to an adoption contract and other paperwork relating to the adoption of your new family member.

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday 5 pm to 7 pm. We are also open on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
