My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jupiter has a smile that’s out of this world! He’s so handsome, and since he’s a very happy boy you get to see that smile all the time! He’s a playful and energetic girl, and FULL of the zoomies. He has a higher energy level and loves to show off for you. He loves treats and takes them well from your hand. He already knows how to sit on command and, as treat motivated as she is, he’s sure to pick up more commands quickly. Playing is another passion of hers. He enjoys toys, and his favorite so far is rope toys. He loves playing tug-of-war with you, but He’s also been known to toss them around all by himself. Jupiter has done well meeting other dogs in shelter and would love to have a playmate in his furever home.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
