My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Austin is so relaxed and easy-going! His nickname is Ambien because when you hold him he might make you go to sleep; he’s such a warm, calm snuggly cat.  He will sit in your lap for hours and will sleep next to you at night. He’s fine with other cats; if they are mean he doesn’t react and just tries to get out of the way.

The fur on his face is growing back. He had an eye issue and scratched at his face. His eyes are better now. Austin has an unusual white line of fur on his right shoulder. The vet said it might have been an injury. As a stray, we don’t know his story other than he’s a great cat. And yes, he’s overweight. He likes his food and eats slow (slow is his speed for everything).

Come meet this big, mellow sweetheart. He should be good with everyone and although we don’t know if he’s been around dogs, he should be fine given a proper, slow introduction.

Austin was born approximately January 20, 2018, and his adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend!
