Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Can Happy be happy again? The person she loved the most will be going to a nursing home and can no longer take care of her. Happy lived in a home and is now in a shelter. She did live with another dog for some time and appears to like other pups. This 10 year old beauty needs an owner who will help build up her confidence and show her lots of love. She is a sweet girl who is very confused and a bit frightened right now due to the many changes she has recently experienced. She will flourish in a quiet and calm home.
Happy is 55 pound German Shorthaired Pointer who is heart worm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. This beautiful dog is currently at our Freeport location. Please fill out the adoption application on our website https://bobbiandthestrays.org/adoption-page-new/if you are ready to meet our lovely Happy. Kindly keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (Long Island and the 5 boroughs of NYC).
