"Hi! My name is Goose. Wanna become friends? I am a great boy...I'm housebroken, like kids, cats and other dogs. I know how to sit and stay! Although I'm no longer a pup, I am playful and have a youthful outlook on life!
This is my second time here. My first time here in 2017, I was adopted by a great young guy. We lived with his mom and all was going well for years, until we moved into our own house. He got a great new job, but works long, long hours. Being left alone at home made me nervous. I heard them call it "separation anxiety'. Weird tho...here at the shelter, I've shown no signs of anxiety whatsoever! Maybe I'm better now, but I still may be afraid of storms and fireworks.
I'm a gentle, friendly guy, and like everyone I meet. My dream is to be in a home with kids or grandkids to play with, or adults who like to play tug-of-war. I get along with other dogs...small or large. And, I'm okay with cats too! I want to be an indoor dog, where my humans are home more than they are away. And, a comfy bed would be amazing! Because have an adventurous spirit, I need a secure fenced yard, or be taken out on leash at all times."
