Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Like a flower ready to bloom, Maggie is finally opening up and letting the sun shine through. This beautiful but shy 9- to 10-year old tortoiseshell cat has exquisite markings, stunning eyes, and a soft velvety coat.
Maggie is cautious around humans, but slowly coming out of her shell. In the morning, she will rub up against your leg, purring and meowing, as she patiently waits for her breakfast to be served. She allows petting, caressing, and scratching…but as with many cats, affection is on HER terms. OK, we get it, Mags…you call the shots!
Maggie gets along well with other cats, but she’d definitely be more comfortable in a household without dogs. They scare her! Woof woof, no bueno!
Maggie is litter-box trained and takes excellent care of her personal space, as well as her thick lush coat. She may not be the most outgoing kitty you’ll ever meet, but she’s special in her own way, and the more intimately you know her, the more you’ll see her sweet nature and her kind soul.
If you would like to adopt this wonderful cat, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
