This guy smiles with his whole face! Meet Drifter, a 1 year old, 43-pound German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix who is sweet, active, friendly and fun!
Drifter gets along well with other dogs, cats, kids, and adults. He enjoys the outdoors and loves greeting people and pooches when he’s out and about. He’s been working on his leash-walking manners, and making steady progress on all fronts. he’ll go into his crate whenever asked to do so. Drifter is responsive to treats and has aced the command sit in no time flat. With further training, this intelligent youngin’ is capable of learning a whole host of words and phrases.
Energetic and athletic, Drifter needs daily physical stimulation to keep himself occupied and fit. He’s also big into toys. After he’s gotten his ya-ya’s out, he’s perfectly happy to chill, relax, and nap. And Drifter can snooze anywhere…the floor, his crate, his dog bed, or the sofa.
Drifter is happiest when in the company of humans. Loyal, loving, and affectionate, Drifter is the type of fella you can pet all over, rub anywhere, and cuddle with, and he soaks it up like a sponge. He’s good in a car, he’s got a sense of adventure, and you’ll never feel alone when this guy is around!
