Have we got a Dutch treat for you! This silly, 16-month-old boy (as of July,2023), might have had a rough start to life, but man-oh-man is he ever making up for lost time! After spending a couple of months behind bars at the Devore Shelter, Dutch hitched a ride on The Rescue Train and has been making his foster mom laugh ever since. Dutch recently completed a training course at Corcha Balanced K9 and came through with flying colors!
This boy is the physical embodiment of “everything, everywhere, all at once”! Are we going for a walk in the rain—yay! Are we playing chase with our canine foster sisters—yay! Are we going for a ride in the car-yay! Are we just gonna cuddle on the couch—well, you get the idea. There’s really not much that Dutch doesn’t enjoy, and his enthusiasm is contagious! Because of his working breed background and high intelligence, Dutch is a fast learner and very eager to please. We think he’d do best in an active home, where his zest for life will really shine. A canine companion would be great, but as long as he has doggy friends, it’s not a deal breaker. So whaddya say, wanna go Dutch?
