Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elvis was returned to the rescue when his mom passed away. He has had a harder time adjusting since he was with his mom for a couple of years. Elvis is 3 years old, neutered, FeLV/ FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, INDOOR ONLY cat. His adoption fee is $125.00.
Elvis is a shyer kitty that would need time to adjust. Once he is confident, he is playful and sweet and prefers to sleep in a warm bed with his family. He gets along really well with other nice cats. Unknown about dogs. Older kids would be ok. Elvis is good with people but doesn't seek an overbearing amount of affection. He likes to just hang in his cat tunnels or towers. Elvis loves feather toys, chasing tails, hair ties, Amazon boxes, and furry mice!
Elvis would love to go to a quieter home that does have other kitty brother and sisters. He would also like to have a comfy cat tower plopped in front of a window so he can bird watch during the day!
If you are a tuxie lover, Elvis is a super cute companion!

Once you find a pet you will speak with a volunteer from the rescue that will ensure the pet you chose is the right match.
2.
Meet the Pet
You will have an in-person meet and greet with the pet, where you can get to know the pet better.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
If you, the pet, and the rescue volunteer determine the pet is right for you, then you will complete the adoption paperwork.
4.
Pay Fee
Our adoption fees range from $100 to $120 dependant on the pet's age.
5.
Take the Pet Home
The pet is home at the time of the meet and greet if the adoption is approved by the rescue. The adopters have a 2 week trial with the pet.
Additional adoption info

More about this rescue
AZ CLAWS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on decreasing pet homelessness and overpopulation. We rescue and rehabilitate cats in preparation for placement into their forever homes and provide sanctuary for unadoptable cats with medical or temperament challenges.
As avid pet lovers, AZ CLAWS understands the importance of being good stewards of the community. We are active TNR supporters providing self-funded spay and neuter. We believe the means to help end cat suffering, homelessness, and euthanasia is through spay and neuter efforts and responsible adoptions.
