Hello, my name is Beyoncé! I am an affectionate, loving, and playful girl. Other cats and/or kittens are lucky enough to be found by their foster families, well, I had other plans. I decided that I would find my own foster family, literally. I was out living on the streets when I wandered onto the porch of my foster family. They were nice enough to take me in during the ice storms/cold weather, and well….. I never left hence why I am in their loving care at the moment until I can find my own forever family. My foster family says that I am one big girl but I think it just means that there is more of me for you to love. I want nothing more than to spend time with you whether that is helping you while you work, watching tv, reading a book or even just being in the same room as you. I will let you know that I want and appreciate the love with my massive purr box and my small chirps. I can be quite persistent when it comes to getting your attention as I will follow you around until you have the time to pet me. Even though I am not a kitten anymore, I do still sometimes love to play with toys. My absolute favorite toy is the interactive ball toy that I chase around in circles. It is never ending. After living on the streets, I am adoring all of the love and cuddles from my foster family. So much so that I would like all of the love to be just for me, therefore I would need to be the only cat in my furever home.

Are you reading to add the gorgeous me into your family?

More about this rescue

North Texas Cat Rescue (NTCR) is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to the humane and compassionate treatment of cats.

Our Mission:

To provide adoption and placement of homeless rescued cats/kittens in permanent homes.
To educate the public on the need to spay/neuter pets, on the prevention of animal cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership.

NTCR Programs

Foster care and adoption programs

NTCR takes in cats/kittens from Collin County Animal Shelter, rescues abandoned felines from other locations and cats surrendered by owners to the extent of our resources and of foster home availability. NTCR places the cats/kittens in foster care for re-socializing, regularly running adoption days at Petsmart in Allen and managing the permanent adoption center, Luv-A-Pet , inside Petsmart in Allen. We also post our adoptable cats on Petfinder.com, Adopt-a-pet.com. Facebook and on our website.

Working with Animal Shelter Services

NTCR works primarily with Collin CountyAnimal Shelter Services. We appreciate their hard work. To the extent of our resources, we do our best to take in our system cats/kittens that are injured , too young to survive on their own, pregnant/nursing mother cats etc… foster them, vet them and place them through our adoption program in loving permanent home.
Spay/neuter public education

We firmly believe in educating and assisting the public about the need to spay/neuter their pets. NTCR works with Texas Coalition for Animal Protection to assist those in need of finding a low cost clinic and a low cost source for spay/neuter. We hope, in the future, to help low-income and fixed income families have their pets fixed at no charge .
