Hi, I’m Buddy, and I’d love to be YOUR best buddy! As you can see, I’m a gorgeous gray gentleman with just a bit of white on my chest. At the age of 10, I was surrendered by my family, leaving me very scared and confused. I’m a friendly boy, but I’ll need some time to get comfortable in my new home, because this has been a big change! I was declawed by my previous owners, which wasn’t very nice!
I’m very vocal, so if you enjoy conversations with your cat, I’m the one for you! I’ll always meet you at the door when you come home, ready to hear about your day and tell you all about mine! I love to sleep in high places - top of the refrigerator, on (or in!) your upper cabinets, or any other lofty perch I can discover! I’m a champion at “the floor is lava” so any surface is fair game. 😂I still have a playful side - the laser pointer is kind of fun - and I love to EAT! I’ll devour pretty much any type of wet food. I hate being confined, so I don’t like the crate! I wasn’t a big fan of the other cat in my foster home, I’m looking for a quiet home without kids or dogs.

We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat population in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens for adoption into loving forever homes. We are a VDACS registered 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 with over 60 foster homes.
Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
