My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Annie Kaye! Annie is a 1-2-year-old 37-pound probably an Australian shepherd and collie mix. She is the softest, sweetest, most loveable dog! Annie’s favorite thing in the world is to get snuggles and love from her human. She loves people of all ages including children and other dogs and is the most perfect dog park friend. Annie is doing well learning to walk on the leash and will need the practice to make walks fun and exciting. She is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents. Annie also enjoys her meals and treats and chews bones in her crate. Annie does have a prey drive and would do best in a home with no small animals. She had bloodwork at her vet visit and is ready for her forever home. Annie has so much love to share!

Interested in becoming a forever home for Annie? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Annie.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Annie the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.

Our adoption fee is $300. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
