This sweet little terrier mix is approx 5-6 yrs old and 16 lbs
He loves being around people but not other dogs, he will mingle with them but is not a team player and loves to emit low growls if any come too close
He was rescued with 5 other dogs from pretty horrendous living conditions so his response to other dogs is understandable
He seems to be very well house trained and does well on a leash
He does like to bark and growl at people when he is in the car but otherwise is very sweet and just wants to be your best friend
He would do better as an only dog and an adult only home.. no children.

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only
WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER
The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
