My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fenn is a gorgeous black lab. He is a big boy at 83 pounds and he still could gain a little bit of weight. He is 3 years old and loves to romp around the yard with the other dogs at his foster home. He also gets along with cats and is mostly indifferent to them. He needs training to walk better on a leash. He sits and shakes hands like a gentleman. He is housetrained and working on crate training.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
