Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is a 2 year old, 55 lb labradoodle who was surrendered to animal control for being "too skittish." The truth is, Maggie is definitely a shy girl and takes some time to come around. It is likely that she was never given much affection or attention until we took her in. She is very low-key and enjoys lounging on the couch a lot.
Maggie follows her foster mom around inside and sleeps next to her as well. She initially would freeze when being pet but that is not longer happening, which means is a huge step! Maggie loves to eat and enjoys treats. She is house-trained and crate-trained in her foster home. She does need to be crated when her foster mom leaves, though.
She is dog friendly and cat friendly. Though she initially wasn't very playful with other dogs, she is now starting to play with them.
We are looking for her to have a home with a fenced in yard as she is not comfortable on a leash.
Please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org . Her adoption fee is $350, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.
